With two posters and an oral presentation, the HCID Lab was well represented at this year's Kentucky Conference on Health Communication (KCHC) 2020. Even though the conference was held remotely this year, KCHC was a great opportunity to share some of our work, including findings from the Communicate and Learn about your Variant of Uncertain Significance (CLEAR-VUS) project and guidance for developing narrative messages. Hannah Getachew-Smith's poster "Inconsistent reporting of best practices: Findings from a health communication campaign process evaluation systematic review" took home a top poster honorable mention. The virtual conference was nice but we are definitely looking forward to conferencing in person again.
